ABOUT US

ABOUT HHCA

"Let's just do it!" After talking for several months about the lack of and need for a neighbourhood group to represent the needs of this northeast London community, longtime residents and co-founders, Lee-Al Charles and Jacqueline Fraser, decided to make it happen in September 2019, by establishing Huron Heights Community Association.
A resident-led Steering Committee was established, working towards an official launch in Spring 2020. Then, when the global coronavirus pandemic struck London, Ontario, in March 2020, the organization was forced to put any plans on hold and go into hiatus until now - Fall 2021. It's time to invite anyone who lives, plays or works in Huron Heights, to come join us and be a part of our community life!
Using the City of London’s Huron Heights Neighbourhood boundaries as a guide, our boundaries are represented by:
· North: South side of Meander Creek (ESA) to Kilally Road
· South: North side of Oxford Street East
· East: Clarke Road
· West: Briarhill Avenue-Northeast Park-Boulee Street
We are a non-partisan, inclusive, welcoming group, open to all ages. Youth (including those looking to complete community service hours) are encouraged to join us and add their voices to the future of our neighbourhood community.
Even if you live outside these boundaries, but want to volunteer with us, participate in our programs and activities, or are looking for a place where you can belong, you are invited to join us too!

Our Mission:

To make our neighborhood community a safer and more desirable area in which to live, work and play, with strong community spirit and a respected voice for improving resident welfare and living environment.

Our Vision:

That Huron Heights is a more desirable, safe, diverse, and friendly neighbourhood community, working together to enhance, strengthen and protect our environment and everyone in it.
